Scripter is one skill: a SKILL.md file and four checklists. The same files work everywhere below. Only the way you add them differs.

For the Claude Code CLI and the Code tab of the Claude desktop app.

  1. Add the marketplace:

    /plugin marketplace add MichaelCodeToLimit/scripter
  2. Install the plugin:

    /plugin install scripter@scripter
  3. Start a new session. The skill loads by itself for design work. To call it by name, type /scripter:scripter.

From a terminal, the same two steps are:

Terminal window
claude plugin marketplace add MichaelCodeToLimit/scripter
claude plugin install scripter@scripter

Unzip scripter.zip into your skills folder, so that you end up with:

  • macOS and Linux: ~/.claude/skills/scripter/SKILL.md
  • Windows: %USERPROFILE%\.claude\skills\scripter\SKILL.md

Call it by name with /scripter.

For the Claude website and apps.

  1. Go to Settings → Capabilities and turn on Code execution and file creation. Skills need it.

  2. Download scripter.zip.

  3. Go to Customize → Skills (claude.ai/customize/skills), choose to upload a skill, and pick scripter.zip.

  4. Check that the skill’s toggle is on.

Which way works depends on your plan.

For Business, Enterprise, Edu and Healthcare plans.

  1. Download scripter.zip.

  2. In ChatGPT, go to Plugins → Skills → Create → Upload from your computer and pick the zip.

  3. It turns on by itself for design work. To call it directly, type @scripter in a message.

If you don’t see Skills, your plan or workspace doesn’t allow custom skills. Use a Custom GPT instead.

Start a new chat and send:

A drone with a solar panel on top so it charges while flying and never has to land.

The answer should open with Verdict: ❌ and a power budget: roughly 20 W available against 150–200 W needed. If you get a cheerful drone design instead, the skill didn’t load. Check the toggle, or call it by name.
